Show the line item unit net/effective price after discount

Hi, 

We would like to show each line item's net/effective price after applying the unit discount.

There is a field called 'Effective Unit Price' that we assumed to be

[Unit Price] x [Unit Discount]

but this does not seem to be it (see screenshot - always seems to be blank).

Any suggestions here?

Sounds like you're looking for the Net price option which is reflected when adding Amount as a column to the line item table on my end. Am I missing something here?

Or are you perhaps looking to get Unit price * Unit discount  regardless of the quantity? From my own troubleshooting, I believe that Effective Unit Price only applies to tiered pricing (part of the new AI-Powered CPQ offering that HubSpot launched at Inbound).

Net Price gives me:

Quantity x Unit Price x Unit Discount

but I'm looking for just 

Unit Price x Unit Discount

If its not a standard field is there a way to create a calculated field to provide this?

Hi @acowpy ,

Thanks for clarifying! Calculated properties aren't supported on product objects, sadly. I've checked most of the out of the box properties that HubSpot offers and there isn't one that strictly returns the per unit value of Unit price x Unit discount. One recourse here would be a custom quote template whereby you adjust the line item table module slightly to perform the calculation you're after (and display this within the line item table).

Past that, per this thread: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Tips-Tricks-Best-Practices/Calculated-field-in-Product-properties/m... , quote hapily does offer some form of calculated property support on their end although you may need to explore this option with them!
