Sequence/marketing email replies from leads are going to spam
Hello,
There are many posts about sequences/marketing emails toleads going to spam; however, my team and I have not seen any posts about sequence/marketing email replies fromleads going to spam.
In short, one our of sales reps has been reporting that sequence replies and marketing email replies are going to the spam folder of our sales rep. We use Gmail and I'm wondering if it's a setting that can be changed on the Google Admin side of things, or if it's something we need to adjust on the HubSpot side of things.
Any similar experiences or ideas would be very helpful!
Long story short, sales emails are sent directly from your connected inbox, not from HubSpot mail servers, so these issues would be down to your domain and mail server's sending reputation.
Adding tracking pixels (which all tracked email software does) can affect his too but that's just a consideration that needs to be made when adding additional email tools.
There's a great guide Pam linked in that linked comment too which might help improve your email deliverability!

So that's exactly one of the posts that we've already looked at that was focused on emails to leads going to spam, rather than the other way around...that said, please forgive me if I'm overlooking a comment in the thread you linked that does focus on the issue we're trying to resolve.
Anyways, and in other words, OUR emails are successfully being delivered to the leads (sales emails, sequences, AND marketing emails); however, when the leads/prospects reply to those emails (especially sequences and marketing emails), they're going to the spam folder of our sales rep and they can't read the replies to the emails they're sending.
Our sales rep couldn't find anything on the HubSpot community forums that mentioned this issue, so I thought I'd make a post about it.

Ah! my apologies I completely misunderstood, this would be completely down to your email inbox. HubSpot doesn't handle these incoming emails, this would be down to your email client. Likely down to your spam filter setup. I'd recomend reaching out to your IT team or whomever manages your inbox to find out why these are being marked as spam and to ensure they're not filtered that way within the future!
