Selling physical merchandise directly on landing page

Hello,

 

We a professional Sales Hub subscription. 

 

I hope I'm posting this question in the correct "community location".

 

Our boss was told (most likely by some cosultants) that we would be able to sell a product (physical merchandise that requires shipping) directly from a Hubspot landing page.

 

Specifically, he is under the impression that we would have a landing page containing the product info and the page would also have a "Buy Now" button , and the Buy Now button would actually process the order by HubSpot without having to redirect the customer to an e-commerce site.

 

In other words, HubSpot would process the Call-To-Action just like an ecommerce or shopping site, prompting the user for Billing/Shipping Address, Shipping Method, Tax.

 

I personally have not been able to find any reference to this in Hubspot's KB or Community.

 

It seems that all reference to payment functionalities in HubSpot is related to virtual products:

I'd like to get confirmation if this is actually an option in HubSpot.

For which part (product, platform, payment) were you thinking of using HubSpot for physical merchandise please? Or for the 3 of them?

I also could see in this article "Set up the payments tool" that "payments is designed for customers selling non-physical goods (ex: software, services, events, courses, content, donations, etc.) and is less suitable for those shipping physical goods, as HubSpot does not calculate taxes or shipping fees at this time.".

I can see that you currently have a ticket open with our technical support team. It looks like the team is currently investigating this.

I would invite you to continue working with them as the Support Team can study your specific use case and it is your best point of contact.

Thank you BérangèreL.  My question was regarding all 3.   Yes, we had initially submitted a support ticket, I only posted to community since we got an automated reply that HubSpot was catching up from their "Global Week of Rest".
