Selecting a deal in personalized email templates

We have multiple deals in our pipeline with some of our client contacts. To make our sales more efficient we created email templates saying stuff like: 

Dear {{ contact.firstname }},

Since our last contact at {{ contact.hs_last_sales_activity_timestamp }}, I worked on our proposal together with {{ deal.accountable }}.

To summarise the project:

{{ deal.description }}​

The total project is estimated at {{ deal.total_deal_size }} of which {{ deal.amount }} is allocated for our services. The project will take around {{ deal.project_duration_in_months }} months to complete.

Now with multiple deals happening, it looks like we can only use this with the latest deal. Which is of course not what we want. Is there a way to select the deal that we are referring to in this email?

Hi @MarcodeBoer,

Are you able to go to the relevant deal record and then start the email and use the template from there? 

If you are using marketing emails, there is not a way at this time to choose which deal that email would be associated with.
