Score type and Association Labels

SOLVE

Score Property Field:

I have a question about association labels and the score values property type. Is there a way to identify contacts based on the association label?

One of the criteria we need is adding a score to the Decision Maker (contact) associated with a deal. For example, if the decision maker's seniority is higher, the score will be higher. However, sometimes a deal can be associated with multiple different contacts, which is why we have association labels to identify who the decision maker is.

In the score property, I can't find a way to reference the association label. It only shows contact properties, so it could be pulling all the associated contacts with the deal, resulting in inaccurate scores. Is there a way to identify contacts based on the association label?

Thank you.

Hi @TuckyW,

I think that you currently need to workaround this limitation in the score filters by creating a deal list - and then scoring deals by membership in this list.

In your deal list, you would filter for deals that are associated with contacts where 'Record ID is known', and matching a certain association label.

You can then use this deal list as a list membership filter in your score.

Hey @TuckyW

so if you are using a custom property for score

you can increase or decrease the value of that custom property with a Workflow

(and using the association labels)

If you are using HubSpot standard score property, this is not possible.

So in this case the workaround 'd be with a list that includes those filters

and in the score property assign a value if the contact is that list.

We 've being encoutering this same situation so I've posted this as an idea in the Ideas forum if you want to upvote it here.

Hope this helps
