You're limited in that using the Resume button from the sequence overview will only resume the entire sequence itself (for all active enrollments), not for individual contacts whose enrollments have been paused.
If individual contacts within the sequence are paused, you have to resume them one by one from their contact records—there is currently no option in HubSpot to bulk resume paused enrollments for individual contacts (I just re-confirmed with support).
If you try to use the Resume button for individual contacts:
you'll get the "all the selected enrollments are active or have already ended, so you can't resume them." – so what might be easier is:
1. Go to CRM>Contacts 2. Add a filter for contacts currently using the property "in sequence" 3. Manually select the ones that you want to resume.
You could also create a task cue, assign them as tasks and then use the task player to run through each one depending on the size.
