Pipelines

SOLVE

Hey there Group,

Wanted to ask how many pipelines each of your organization(s) utilize in HubSpot?

I know that pipeline generation is solely dependent on each specific organization(s) structure and use-case.

My organization is only currently using one pipeline, however I am trying to incorporate other pipelines to allow me take a deeper dive into some of the more granular aspects of our business processes.

How many pipelines are active in your Hubspot account?

Pipelines

SOLVE

Hi @Josh_Berman_8 ,

as for us, we also started using one pipeline but recently set up four:

- "Customer Journey Process" for new prospects who are interested in our agency services

- "Renewal Pipe" for our existing clients that want additional agency services

- "PDF CreateMate" for clients who registered for our HubSpot integration PDF CreateMate

- "Marketplace Transactions" for clients that downloaded our templates from the HubSpot Marketplace

We did this because of the following benefits:

- Separate pipelines for different product lines or services allow for more detailed tracking and reporting.

- Each pipeline can have its own stages and properties tailored to the specific process it supports.

- Helps in segmenting deals, leads, or tickets based on different criteria, which can improve management and forecasting.
- Teams can focus on their respective pipelines, enhancing productivity and clarity.

Here's some general advice on setting up and managing multiple pipelines in HubSpot:

- Understand why you need separate pipelines and what you aim to achieve with them.

- Customize stages in each pipeline to match the specific workflow and milestones.

- Regularly review the performance of each pipeline to ensure they are effectively contributing to your business goals.

- Ensure that your team is well-trained on using multiple pipelines and understands the benefits.

Common pipeline setups for Sales Pipelines are separate pipelines for different products, regions, or sales strategies.

Common pipeline setups for Service Pipelines are seperate pipelines for customer support, technical support, and customer onboarding.

Best Practices for Pipeline Management in HubSpot

- Start with a few additional pipelines and expand as needed.

- Regularly analyze pipeline data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

- Keep your team informed and involved in the changes to ensure smooth adoption.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards

Adriane

Hi @Josh_Berman_8, I hope that you are well!

Thank you for asking the Community!

I have found similar threads that might give you different perspectives and solutions:

- How many deal pipelines do I need?
- How can we get more than 15 pipelines?
- How many pipelines do we need?
- When should I create multiple deal pipelines in HubSpot CRM?

Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation 🙂

I hope this helps!

Have a fantastic day!

Best,
Bérangère
