New Sales Workspace Beta: A Major Step Backwards
Seriously disappointed with the new Sales Workspace beta. HubSpot plans to remove the two features that made this tool worth using - the dedicated Leads and Deals tabs.
These tabs let me work through deals and leads at lightning speed without the constant clicking and navigation that slows everything down. Now they've been replaced with... basic links to the same old classical views?
What's the logic here? The entire value proposition of Sales Workspace for me and my clients was speed and efficiency - letting me manage my full pipeline 4-5x faster than the traditional interface. Without those integrated tabs, this "upgrade" is basically a feature removal disguised as innovation.
Please bring back the Leads and Deals tabs. That's what made Sales Workspace special. This beta feels like you solved a problem nobody had while creating problems nobody wanted.

Agree - this beta is a step backwards.
Without the ability to see prospects and deals in the sales workspace, the function loses much of its value. The key remaining benefit is the improved tasks view.

Agree as well, the Prospects tab in the Sales Workspace was definitely heading in the right direction, centralizing the Companies and Leads information in one place, with customizable views/counts all in one place. We have created views by Lead Status and by Ideal Client Profile which give our AEs a complete view of their book of business by different cuts all in one place. What would have been an upgrade was including the same functionality from the CRM index views into the Companies and Leads views so that you could perform bulk actions and "work" directly from there creating tasks, etc. Please consider moving back in the direction you were with a dedicated tab for Prospects and Deals that have CRM Index capability + the left handside menu to switch/organize views.
The dedicated Leads and Deals tabs were the whole point of Sales Workspace quick pipeline control without hopping back and forth. Removing them does feel like a step backward in terms of efficiency.
HubSpot has been experimenting a lot with unified navigation, but sometimes simplification strips away the tools power users depend on. If speed was the main value propp, replacing tabs with links really just recreates the old CRM view, which defeats the purpose.
I’d encourage you to add this feedback directly in the Ideas Forum too, since HubSpot’s product team tends to monitor those closely. Here’s the link:
The more voices there, the higher the chance they’ll prioritize bringing the tabs back.
In the meantime, you might try creating saved views and pinning them, but I know it’s not the same. The old tab setup was faster for anyone processing a queue of leads or deals in one sitting
