Mass template update to active sequence

I know there is a capability to edit an email template per contact in a scheduled sequence, but is there a capability (or is there a capability in progress) to do a mass template update across all contacts? Why won't any content updates made in the source template (in Conversations - Templates) pull over to the scheduled sequence also without editing each enrolled contact?

Hi @emclean 

 

The new updated sequence will only be updated for folks that are newly enrolled. There are a few things you can do here:

 

1. Update the email in the scheduled section of the sequence (this is good if you only need to update for a few contacts – which you seem to already be aware of)

2. Unenroll contacts and re-enroll them starting at a particular step – for instance if everyone has already received emails 1& 2 you can start everyone on email 3 (this is good if you need to do a mass update)

 

to enroll from a particular step do your enrollment per usual (whether that is contact by contact or from a list). When you are in the enrollment pop-up box click on the drop-down labeled "start at" next to the time zone drop down. You'll be able to choose the starting point from there.

It would be super helpful if you could make changes to a sequence and those already enrolled would get the updated sequence rather than having to unenroll and enroll again.
