Looking to create a "home page" dashboard for sales

I am looking to have a "home page" dashboard for our sales people to go to every morning. The dashboard would have all their tasks, opportunities/deals, target accounts etc. Everything a rep needs to run their territory all in one place. I used salesforce for years and this was something out of the box that you could easily customize. I found this post from 4 years ago https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Releases-and-Updates/Introducing-the-New-Tasks-Home-for-Sales-Reps/... that seems to show exactly what I want but when I click on the link that says check out the new Task home, it simply takes me to task view. And I can't add the other views. Any suggestions? Thanks very much in advance! Screenshot 2024-04-04 165502.png

I personally do not think the Prospecting Workspace meets this mark yet. The way contacts get into the prospecting flow is too restrictive for our users at this time. If you have Operations Hub, you should be able to create custom reports for all of this. Currently our Sales Team operates with a strict rules of engagement set, where if they miss on following up, someone will be there to fill the gap.

Using custom reports, you can easily show users their tasks, as well as break out all of this information in a way that perfectly fits your business. I personally think until the prospecting dashboard has a little more flexibility it will not be useful for all but the most straightforward usecases, but eventually I am really excited to see where it goes.

Agree with your points @chadsideris, custom dashboards are also how a lot of our clients are managing sales team engagement, the problem I've noticed with questions like this in the community is that many accounts don't have Ops Hub subscriptions - many of the reports can be built with a Sales Pro or Enterprise account, the automations are where things get sticky if you need to use CCAs (custom coded actions)

Hey @MJMacpherson ,

Thanks for clarifying your needs!

What you're after is a sales dashboard that brings together real-time data, tasks, deals, and target accounts all in one place for your sales team's convenience.

We've checked out the thread link you shared, and we're all about those customizations for the sales team.

Syncing tasks with Outlook, Gmail, and other platforms is another feature we can set up to keep your sales team on top of their game. Plus, we can implement internal automations and create weekly reporting dashboards for individual performance monitoring.

Don't forget about the nitty-gritty details like creating tasks for new deals, follow-ups, and adding reasons for lost deals. These steps are crucial for streamlining your sales team's performance.

Hope this helps, and let us know if there's anything else we can do for you!

You can also upvote, and mark this as a solution.

Hi @MJMacpherson what you're looking for is the Prospecting Workspace - depending on how long you've been using HubSpot, you might need to update your sales process to incorporate the new leads object for this to be as valuable as it can be.
