Line Items Reporting - recurring revenue

SOLVE

Hi all,

I'm trying to report on recurring revenue with a "billing start date" and "billing frequency" that should be the end of the billing date.

I did manage to create a report for this, but the issue is that even though I set the billing frequency be 4 months for example, it still shows recurring revenue after the 4 months as well.

This happens for all the deals, so unless I filter them out somehow, they will still be shown in the report, even if they ended up paying.

Ideally, I would like to see all recurring revenue monthly- past and future in one report to see the curve.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks for the help!

Line Items Reporting - recurring revenue

SOLVE

Hi,

To report on recurring revenue with a "billing start date" and "billing frequency" that represents the end of the billing date, you can follow these steps:

  1. Create a report using the desired criteria, including the "billing start date" and "billing frequency" fields.

  2. To filter out deals that have already ended, you can add a filter based on the current date. This will exclude any deals that are past their billing end date.

  3. If you want to see both past and future recurring revenue in one report, you can remove the filter mentioned in step 2. This will include all deals, regardless of whether they have ended or not.

By adjusting the filters and criteria in your report, you can get the desired view of recurring revenue and visualize the curve.

I hope this helps!

Hello Tomas,

I'm having a similiar issue to the original poster and would like to try your work around. Can you give more details around how to get the monthly view of each of my Line Items from their Billing Start Date to the end?

Thanks!
