When logging to a contact from within HubSpot, HubSpot chooses to log to every associated record.
Since we have contacts and companies that have multiple deals in progress, all of these deals get logged to (calls, tasks, emails).
Our deal pipeline is a mess of unrelated logged emails that is requiring extensive data clean-up that is costing us money and causing us to reevaluate our CRM partner.
How do we resolve this issue within HubSpot and prevent auto logging to deals?
If you're sending messages from HubSpot or using the HubSpot Sales extensions for Gmail or Outlook, you can however unselect records you do not want the message to be associated to:
