Whenever a user logs in, the required cookie is not loaded initially, so the user is not recognised and is shown as unknown and is therefore not redirected to the correct HubSpot Owner. After a page refresh (F5), everything is fine. We could force the page ro refresh on load, but that's not a preferred solution.
Ideally we would be able to send the user information to HubSpot using an API right after they log in.
Hi @kareldries, so if I understand correctly, you would like to have API support for the Messages tool, which would allow you to pass on a Messages user's information to HubSpot, in order for them to be recognized by the tool?
If so, would you be able to post about this on our Ideas Forum, as this is not something that is currently available in HubSpot? Please include as much information as possible about your use case, including:
- Role: who (what type of user/account type) is the feature for? - Goal / Roadblock: what is it that you/your team wants to do – the goal and/or desire. OR what is the problem / roadblock? - The Benefit: why do you need it – what do you need to accomplish? What value do you derive from the feature? - Examples: Are there any other software platforms where you’ve seen the feature or something like it
