How many chats do you have per week?

Dear community,

I am currently evaluating our live chat and was wondering how much chats an average company (preferably b2b) has. 

I would be very happy if you share your experiences so that I can compare them with our results.

I'll make a start: we are currently at about 40 chats per week 🙂

Hi Jacob02

The answer is quite varied across industries, across various time frames.

For various B2B clients I saw the following:

15 chats a month - 0,4% of their traffic start a chat

100 chats a month - 2,4% of traffic start a chat

40 chats a month - 0,6% of traffic start a chat

32 chats a month - 0.84% of traffic start a chat

but for a much bigger site we have 385 chats per month - 1,42% of the traffic chat

The average is around 1% of traffic if I look at the stats i have access to.
