How do I keep existing email Subject Line when replying and using a template

Hi Folks,

When I'm replying to an email and want to use a template, the email subject line gets overridden. 

Even if I leave the subject line in the template blank, it still over-writes the email subject line - in this case it's just blank.

 

I'm resorting to copying the email subject, then selecting the template, then pasting the subject line back in.

 

Is there a way to do this so the template doesn't overwrite the subject line when replying?

At this time it's not possible. HubSpot will always defer to the template.

I agree with you! Even if it's useful that templates have subjects for 1st emails, when it's a reply it's very strange to overwrite an existing subject.

It would be very useful, copy-pasting the email subject is very annoying to us... :-(
