How To Take Care Of Accounts From Hubspot.

How can a company use Hubspot to:

  1. Keep track of all our key accounts.
  2. Track actions, emails and follow-ups.
  3. Develop campaign plans for specific accounts.

Each account is different so automated emails probably won't work.

We would like to have one place where we can make notes on accounts, and be notified when to follow up/chase certain partners. Can we do this from Hubspot?

Hi @AnnabelleEarps,

You'd be in very good hands if you took the offer of @Jnix284's demo – I highly recommend taking it.

For high-level answers to your questions: yes, all of the above is possible.

  1. You can keep track of your key accounts with HubSpot's basic CRM functionalities (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/get-started/manage-your-crm-database), but also with the target accounts feature (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/companies/a-guide-to-your-target-accounts-home).
  2. You can track emails, meetings, notes, follow-ups, calls easily on company, contact and deal records in HubSpot. Anything done from within HubSpot is tracked automatically (e.g. composing an email from a company record). If you're working with Gmail and Office 365, these extensions will make things a lot easier: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/how-to-install-hubspot-sales
  3. The conceptualization is something that wouldn't happen necessarily in HubSpot but HubSpot gives you powerful tools for segmentation (company lists), semi-automated and personalized outreach (sequences) and a lot more features.

You have full control over what you would want to automated and what you would want to be fully manual and personalized.

All of what you mention can be done and has be done by thousands of HubSpot customers before 🙂

Best regards!

Happy to help @PamCotton, if you're new to HubSpot @AnnabelleEarps I highly recommend setting up a demo to answer your questions - whether that's with HubSpot directly or with a Solutions Partner that can help (I'm happy to connect you with our team if you'd like).

Everything you're looking to do is possible and can be configured to work with your processes, with a demo you can see exactly how that would work.

If you already have a HubSpot account, I'd be happy to share some additional resources to help you get started.
