Error saving changes to Messages tool

I used to have a paid account with the sales tools but cancelled the subscription before Hubspot offered a free version.

 

I'm now trying to set up the meetings tool in the free version but it won't let me save any changes and asks me to contact support. But I cant contact support because I'm on a free account and dont have any options other than this forum.

 

Can anyone suggest how I might be able to reset this so I can set up the messages tool properly or get in touch with Hubspot support so they can do it?

Hi @perspecdesign,

 

Thanks for sending the har file my way! Taking a look at the file, it looks like the issue is specific to the custom field you have in your form with your meetings link. 

 

Are you able to get to the settings within the meetings tool for the form to delete any fields aside from "first name" "last name" and "email"? If you encounter any error on the road to getting to that screen/saving that update, please let me know.

Hi @perspecdesign,

 

Do you mind sharing where you are getting the contact support button? If you can also confirm the email address for the calendar you're trying to connect, that would be great!

Hi @perspecdesign,

 

Apologies, I meant where is the error message that is telling you to contact support coming from? Can you send along a screenshot of where you're getting stuck? 

 

I am seeing your meetings link as successfully connected, so what specifically are you looking to edit/change?

Any time I try to make any changes to my calendar, I get this message...

To confirm, does this issue occur across multiple browsers and after clearing your cache? 

 

If so, can you please capture a har file from the process so that I can investigate this matter further with the Support team?

Hi,

 

Yes I've cleared my cache and also tried it in Firefox.

 

It doesn't let me upload the har file here, is there an address to email it to?

Yes that's brilliant - it now works!

 

(So for anyone else reading this, if you downgrade your sales account, make sure you remove any custom fields and hit save!)
