Email Tracking - False Positives

I am having some tracking issues. Specifically, I forwarded an email to a colleague and the email was tracked. I share many emails with this colleague and have normal tracking when he opens my emails. Yesterday I received two tracking notifications stating he opened my email from a remote location he was not at. This concerned me. When I inquired, he said not only was he not in that location but he didn't access that particular email. He then tested the email by opening both with his computer and with his cell phone. I received neither notification. Later yesterday afternoon I received yet another notification for the same email from the same remote location. He again confirmed he didn't open that particular email. This is concerning. It clearly stated it was him opening the email as he is also in our CRM.
