Deal tag for missing company association

Hi everyone,

We are currently revamping our deal page to streamline the creation and tracking of deals/pitches made/sent.

I saw a new (to me) feature called 'deal tags'. Nice feature to add colour coded tags to your deals. I played around with a couple of tag variations, one of which was an 'add company' tag.

I noticed that there is no filter to determine if an associated company has been added to the deal, at least as far as I know.

Why would I want to add this tag? Because sometimes deals are made before the company/contact is created. This leaves room for error as people forget to create them afterwards.

Let me know if you find a way to determine the presence of a company associated with a deal!

Hi @Wijtmans,

This requires an additional custom property and/or additional workflow, it's not possible (at least yet) to set this up directly.

I'd recommend creating a custom calculation property along the lines of "Number of associated contacts".

1. Create custom deal property "Number of associated companies"
2. Set up as shown below
   
3. Create a deal tag based on "Number of associated companies = 0"
