Deal stage file submit and email notification

I was wondering if someone had a workaround to achieve the following:

Part of our deal pipeline is a deposit stage. To work past this stage, two files are required. 

When these files are uploaded and the deal stage is complete, I have a workflow setup to send a notification email to specified staff. 

The issue is, that instead of sending a link to the file (set to public) it just sends over an ID.

If anyone has an idea of how would I be able to send a perpetual link instead of this ID when creating the notification email, it would be greatly appreciated 🙂

These requests submitted to the HubSpot Ideas section of the community are reviewed by the HubSpot product team, based on their popularity and the assumed demand.

Since links would be accessible to HubSpot users only anyway, have you considered adding a link the record in HubSpot instead, having people open the record and find the files there, in the left sidebar or the middle section? Notifications accept deep links – this would only require one additional click then to access the files.
