SOLVE

Hi,

our deal has a few 10s of custom properties. Working with them in HubSpot is a nightmare, because field titles and field content is visually poorly separated, listed in one long column and there's a good chance of non-intentional changes.

Is there a way to integrate external UI provider? What I have in mind is to access deal database with an integrated UI (could be a browser extension), where I would be able to create, view, and edit deal properties. I would also like to be able to export that data to a PDF if possible.

Hi @ADvoršak

Have you tried Playbooks? This is recently added to Pro Accounts and allows you to create a series of questions for your team to complete. A nice mix of Quality Assurance (QA) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Alternatively, we've built Custom CRM Extensions for our clients who needed specialised functionality in HubSpot.

For example: This screenshot shows the CRM Extension (top right)

webalite-none-selected.png

And this is a "modal" that pops up when you set the Primary Contact.

webalite-select-accounts-selected.png

This concept works for complex screens within HubSpot or forms for external systems.

And, we're even looking at the PDF functionality for another project.

Send me a message if youd like me to show you how it works.

Mike hi again,

I've looked into Playbooks, but Professional tier only allows me to create new open text answers and does not allow me to offer existing contact/deal properties as asnwers to stream data in HubSpot. It's a standard "tease and squeeze" business approach from HubSpot where functionalities are offered in basically useless form in the cheaper price tiers that's driving me further and further away from HubSpot.

I'll reach out to you about the custom UI.

I faced the same problem you described and eventually solved it by writing my own UI in my own website. This web page is invoked by clicking on a property in my deal record. I use the HS API to retrieve and update the HS data from my external page.

It is working really well for my Sales Team, but did require some time to develop.

Having customized web page for deal data management, QA, quote generation and customized operations has made a tremendous difference for my team as they manage the 300+ properties of our product.

If you are interested in seeing a demo please message me.
