We are struggling as we try to figure out how we can use the quote feauture within Hubspot. Our pricing is not neceasirilly per unit based (product price x unit price) etc.. Ours is fee based so simialr to how one might price for merchant services where it's a percentage of transactions plus a base cost. The pricing is all netotiated with the buyer so it's not like any actual calculations need to be done either. The deal is either going to be fixed rate or cost+ and as mentioned before, those fees and costs are all negotiated as part of the sales process. Just not sure how to get there with the Hubspot quote tool
I think what you are looking for is using a special deal property that has the percentage you are going to charge
(this can be a manual inserted property or a calculated one - for example, 5% of deal amount in my property "percentage_amount_calc"that you see in the right bar)
And then you can have a custom quote template
that shows this information as a the first line
and then you can continue adding other concepts.
hope this helps.

We have an App on the HubSpot Marketplace that can help with this. It takes information from Deals (and associated objects, like contacts) and generates a quote. After the quote has been generated you can edit it as part of your sales process. Then when the quote is finalised you can approve it and convert the file into a PDF (and send it to be eSigned if required). You can check it out here: https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/sales/sales-enablement/portant-1323181
It could be a good option if you already have a proposal template in Google Docs/Slides or even Microsoft Word or Powerpoint becasue Portant uses these files as the template. You don't have to build your template from scratch.
The Hubspot quote tool is just representing the information you have in the deal. How are all of those fees and costs showing in the deal record? Are you using line items, or not because the price is not fixed?
The quote tool has different templates that can be edited and various data from the line items or other deal properties. So, depending on what you're trying to achieve with it, that will determine how to go about it. The quoting tool won't be able to do any calculations itself, so it's important to understand whether or not you are logging the information in the line items (product) section and how are those set up.
Would it be possible for you to share a screenshot with the information of the line items (if those are used), so I can review further?
I'd like to involve some of our experts in the conversation to review whether they have any suggestions for you or if they have encountered a similar case in their experience and how they resolved it.
