Can I set up custom availablity dates in the meetings tool? For example, I am available for a meeting on Mondays 8AM to 5PM with the exception of Monday, February 1st. I would like to have the meetings link appear busy that day without having to block my MS Office calendar. Another example is I would like to send out a meeting link today, January 13th, but not allow clients to book a meeting until January 25th at the earliest. I want to send the link early to give the client time to coordinate a meeting, but I will not be ready to meet until January 25th or after.
In addition, we have users that are hosting meetings in different showrooms and online meetings. They also work every other Saturday or Sunday on rotation, so simply blocking off the calendar on those days is not a feasible soltution for them, since they need to be available, but availability is based on meeting location. Blocking off the calendar is also too risky. We've tried it before and often users forget to do this in a timely manner leading to bookings made outside of their working hours.
@hubspot We need to have the option to set user availability based on meeting type and specific date overwrites for Saturdays or Sundays, please. 🙏
I second this. I use Calendly and would love to switch to Hubspot to have everything in one system but the inability to mark certain dates as unavailable is making me hesitant. @hubspot can this be added as a functionality in the next update?
Literally the only reason we still have Calendly in our tech stack. I would much prefer to move our meetings scheduler to Hubspot.
We're considering a somewhat complicated workaround, but if Hubspot would be able to accommodate our availability requirements that would make everything so much easier
It sounds like the only way to work around this is to put a time block on your calendar to avoid meetings being booked. I'll test it but I'm sure I'll forget to do this.
yeah, our experience has shown us that users forget to block their calendar. But that's one of the things we may need to do as well.
We'll need to create users for all of our showrooms so the showroom meetings are booked in a separate calendar instead of round robin distribution amongst users, leaving user availability for online meetings, calls, etc on those same days. It's a bit complicated and unfortunately requires a lot of time setting it up and maintaining
I can't believe this isn't a feature in Meetings and that more people aren't screaming for this. It's a functionality in Calendly, and I pay for a Calendly subscription just to have access to it. HubSpot, please keep working on the calendar functions to be on par with the stand-alone apps. 🙏
Agreed - We just moved from Calendly to HubSpot and this is one of the main things I miss! I don't want to block off time in my calendar but I do want to be able to limit clients from being able to book into my calendar using my meeting link for random dates/times. This was extremely simple to do in Calendly but impossible in HubSpot. It would be simple to implement: Just add an 'Exceptions' section that allows you to choose dates/times that override the Availability Window (excuse my rough drawing)
@karstenkoehler Hi, is there any new update on this matter? The only reason why I'm still using and paying Calendly is because I'm not able to have custom dates and hours over a period of more than 1 week in HubSpot Meeting scheduler. Thanks for confirming!
We have colleagues going to an event where we want to use a different meetings link to book meetings for it, but we have no way of preventing meetings being booked in using our existing links.
I have this exact problem. Would be great to be able to change availability for different meeting schedules rather than depending on 1 external calendar for all.
@karstenkoehlerThis feature would be exceedingly helpful as my staff only works on particular days and not on a repeating schedule. I see this hasn't been discussed in a number of years, but this is one feature that is preventing me from moving my full business services to the HubSpot ecosystem. I have to use a separate meeting schedule system that takes my contacts outside of HubSpot.
I live in Las Vegas, but spend 2-2.5 weeks per month on the road. I need to be able to send a meeting link to my LV donors that shows a couple days this week, a day or two next week and 3 days the following week. That does not seem like that should be hard to do. Why is the scheduling limited to one week?
