Can't import ONLY association between Deal and Contact

Hi, I'm facing a hiccup is just being able to import Hubspot a CSV which has record IDs for Deals and Contacts in order to associate the Deals and Contacts. I've tried all permutations.

My use case goes like this:
I have a lot of Deals coming to Hubspot from an external integration. None of them are associated with Contacts. However Contact ID which needs to be associated is available on a deal record. I'm unable to use out of the box Hubspot capabilities to be able to implement associations. Theoritically, what should work is what I've tried but to no success:

Step 1 - Export Deal records while including properties - Deal Record ID and Contact Record ID.
Step 2 - Import those records back to Hubspot using Hubspot Import functinality. Ideally both single file method or two file method should work.

Issue: I've tried both, the moment I map the record ID's (either Deal or Contact), it throws me an error and the screen blanks out. Please help to find if it is a bug in Hubspot and if yes, how to report it.

I posted the screenshot of the UI, where hubspot crashes and screen goes white. This happens exactly when one selects Deal's record ID in the "Hubspot Property" column in the last screenshot I posted. What I am basically reporting here is that  it looks clearly like a bug on Hubspot side and if anyone who tried something similar and find if there is an obvious mistake I did, which I couldn't find still. Hoping somebody from Hubspot could check this flag as well as it might be well due to the product updates. I am not sure if I should post this somewhere else as well.

Hi @APremi,

Blank screen sounds like it may be a browser-related issue more than your fault in setting up the import file. Your steps seem correct.

Have you tried another browser / clearing cache and cookies / disabling extensions? For how long has this problem persisted? (Some issues resolve over the course of an hour, for example.)

I've already tried the same process, in another Hubspot Portal as well. Still doesn't work. I think as Hubspot team has changed the interface also affecting how to ingest the mapped properties. Looks like a bug to me unless, I'm the only guy experiencing this!

@APremi the screenshots you shared look like everything is working as expected. The record ID has moved into the HubSpot property column and you can map it there. When exactly are you not able to proceed?

Please provide as much detail as possible, that will greatly help with a fast resolution.
