In New Zealand and Australia, we operate under GST (Goods and Services Tax) regulations. In Australia specifically, it's a legal requirement to explicitly mention GST on a quote.
However, when dealing with multi-year deals, there's a unique consideration. The "One-Time Tax" dropdown function within HubSpot's quoting tool only applies to the initial billing term. So, if companies are billed annually across multiple years, GST is only factored into the first year. Consequently, the Total Contract Value (TCV) won't precisely represent the entire cost of the deal since it won't account for GST in the subsequent years.
All I ask is for HubSpot to include a Tax option that is not just 'one-time', but applies to multiple billing terms.
