Advance page lists from pg1 to (example) pg95

When working the Companies page I can no longer return to my current working list page (ex: pg 95), but it goes back to the beginning at Page 1. How can I advance quickly from pg1 back to pg 95 other than keep tapping the numbers at the bottom, which only advance 5 pages at a time? And why did this view change? I now have to hit the back arrow button UNLESS I viewed a contact, which the back arrow will then only keep me in a perpetual loop from that contact to his company back to that contact. Then I have to hit "Companies," and again start over at pg 1 and climb back to pg 95
