Adding documents programmatically to HubSpot Sales

SOLVE

We have a document that our sales person shares with prospects in one-on-one emails. We occasionally update it. When I go to the Documents page in Hubspot and click re-upload to update the version, it just seems to create another file in the documents manager. Am I doing something wrong? Ideally, we would just have one link that she shares, and it would always bring up the latest version of the document. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Hi @ericthomas As it turns out, when you upload a new document (even a new version of a document) it will create a new URL. It is not possible to keep the same url and replace documents that live there.

Great suggestion though. Can you add this as a post to our ideas forum for further comment?

Thank you,

Ed Justen

I had the same question, and while I haven't tried it, it looks like there's an app that offers this fuctionality: CloudFiles:

How to replace files while preserving the same link?
