We use the 4-4-5 Accounting Calendar for our fiscal months. So that all quarters of the year are divided evenly with each quarter having two four-week periods and one 5 week period.
We are trying to figure out a good way to accurately report our sales on a fiscal month basis using these accounting periods.
For example, the fiscal month always ends on the last Saturday of the month closest to the last actual day of the month and begins on the Sunday closest to the first actual day of the month. So April 28 to June 1 would be our fiscal May. Obviously this makes it a bit difficult to accurately report sales.
In HubSpot, you may need to customize your reporting approach to align with this Calender intricacy. You can utilize custom date ranges and filters in the reporting tools that could be beneficial. Also, you might consider creating a system for mapping your fiscal months to standard calender months within HUbSpot to steamline reporting processes. This can help ensure that sales data is accurately attributed to the corresponding fiscal periods.
