Update lead status for 290 new imported lead

SOLVE

Hi, I have recently imported 290 leads. I need to update the lead status. It is all the same status to begin. Can I do it at the same time?

Also need to group these imports into the same group.

Thanks

Update lead status for 290 new imported lead

SOLVE

Hi @LTroesh,

Yes, this is possible. To start, navigate to Menu > Contacts > Contacts and click All filters (center of the screen, above the contact table) to filter for Import is any of [your import]. After doing so, you can select all contacts by clicking the top left checkbox.

Pay attention to the "Select all [ ] records" message if there are contacts on following pages. You can then click Edit (again center of the screen, above the contact table) to bulk edit the Lead status value. This is also explained here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/how-can-i-bulk-edit-contacts-companies-deals-or-tasks

If by group you are referring to a list, you can find steps to add these contacts to a list here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/add-or-remove-contacts-from-a-list
