I am hoping you can help me out here as I am a new Hubspot user and ever since creating my account have have constant issues with logging in to hubspot and also I have not been able to log in to the Hubspot Wordpress plugin to connect Wordpress to my Hubspot account. I have followed all the troubleshooting online. Turning off all browser extensions enabling ad pop ups and clearing cache and no success.
1. Hupspot Log in: I am able to log in. But when I try to enable my wordpress plugin from my wordpress site. I get logged out of Hubspot CRM and when I try to log back in to the CRM I get the following error message:
"Sorry. There was an issue logging you in to your HubSpot account. This could be due to a web browser issue. Please clear your browser cache and cookies, disable all browser extensions like ad blockers, and try again. If you're still having issues logging in, please read this article."
2. When I try to connect the Wordpress plug in to Hubspot. I login via the plugin and the plug in seems to recognize me and asks if I would like to log in with my existing hubspot account. When I select my account. I then get the following error: "You don’t have permission to connect a website to your HubSpot account. Ask an admin to update your permissions in settings.
My account is a Super Admin account as it is the only account I have. I have spent hours going through the settings and I have disabled all extensions, cleared cache disabled ad pop ups and still have this issue and I have tried this on both firefox and chrome browsers and have the same issues on both.
I am about to throw in the towel here as I have spent way to much time trying to getting this to get Hubspot to work so hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get this solved.
Thank you for your response. Regarding user permissions yes I have followed all instructions and our company account only has 1 user which is me and is a Super Admin which is why I am stumped. I have looked through all settings on the hubspot settings and dont see anything that could be causing this issue. Also for my Wordpress log in I have full permissons on that too so no issue there.
Yes I have filled out the form on the bottom of link in my previous post as well.
Have you filled the form at the bottom of this knowledge base you shared here? This will help you with the login part. But it is recommended to clean your browser.
Please ensure that the user account you are using to connect the integration to HubSpot has the necessary user roles and permissions required by the plugin. This may involve assigning specific roles or permissions within your WordPress site.
Some integrations require specific account-wide tools to connect to HubSpot. Check if the integration you are using has any specific requirements related to account-wide tools and ensure that those are in place.
Have you followed up with the team over email after submitting the form? Providing them with extra information will help to identify your permission needs.
The HubSpot account must beupgradedto a subscription that has access to the required tool(s). If you want to upgrade your account, reach out to the third-party integrator to determine which subscription is required to connect their integration.
