How do I automate the task of creating a deal?

I'm struggling with something I suspect is very simple, but I can't find a solution (both from the HS Knowledge Base and HS community forums):

Problem: I do not want to manually create deals.

Goal: If a Hubspot form is submitted, create a 'Deal'.

Question: How do I automate the task of creating a deal?

I suspect it is through the act of creating a workflow to do it, but there seems to only be automation AFTER a deal is manually created and placed in a dealflow:

I'm guessing this may be done using the Lifecycle Stage 'Lead' value, once a form is submitted (which it does do)? However, I still can't figure out how a deal is supposed to be created (other than manually)?

Using an external service like Zapier, can run a Hubspot <> Hubspot task, but this makes zero sense to me as to why Hubspot can't do that themselves, even on a paid Sales Professional plan.

Are you on a Professional subscription? If so, you could create a contact-based workflow to achieve this: Menu > Automation > Workflows
