Deal screen does not transfer Notes and Tasks back to Contact screen
SOLVE
When I create a new Contact and associate the new contact with a Deal, the Contact shows up as a Deal on this beautiful screen that allows me to move the Deals around to my various Case Status Categories. And when I generate new Notes or Tasks in the Contact screen, they show in the Deal screen for that Contact. However, when I create new Notes or Tasks in the Deal screen, they will not show up in the Contact screen unless I click to add the Contact as an Associate for that one Note or Task. And the next Note or Task I create in the Deal window will not show up on the Contact screen unless I do the same thing – click to Associate the Note or Task with the same Contact name.
And I am concerned that I, or someone else, will open the client’s Deal window, and generate a new Note or Task and forget to click the Associate button, leaving me with a client’s info in two different places.
If so, is there a workaround to force the Deal screen to always transfer Notes and Tasks to the Contact screen automatically, as the Contact screen does to the Deals screen?
