Hello everyone, i am Akpobome Ejiro. I am a business consultant and brand Developer. The founder and CEO at Simply Brandit; A brand development company based in Nigeria. I have an experience of over a decade in marketing and sales but we need to evolve consistently in the every dynamic social system to ensure sustainability. One tip i can recommend to close more deals is to be more human and less robot. i understand there is the wave of automation amd aking things easy with everyone behind screens, try to have and feel some real heart felt, real- time conversation. Bear in mind that people no longer buy product or services; "people buy people"

Strong agree @igod - I truly beleive you're right on the point about being more human, less robot. We all have to figure out when the right time is to let the technology support the human and when the human should support the technology.

Hi everyone! I have been a career educator in Adult Education for 35 years and have earned a Masters in Instructional Technology. I was browsing ads for different career options for people with experience in training others how to use or incorporate technology in different fields and came across a position described as "Partnership Enablement" and frankly, I had no idea what that meant. Some Googling and I found this group. I am mostly wondering if my experience in adult education has provided me with enough transferable skills to be able to present myself as a candidate for positions in Sales Enablement.

Hi there Barry 🙋♀️ HubSpot describes sales enablement as the processes, content, and technology that empowers sales teams to sell more efficiently at a higher velocity. Often there's a lot of teaching sales, service and marketing teams to think differently and to adopt new technology and process, so I'd say yes! Apply for some sales enablement roles. To set yourself up for success, I'd suggest getting certified too: https://academy.hubspot.com/courses/sales-enablement

Hello! My name is Mackenzie and I currently serve as the Director of Global Higher Education Recruitment. My portfolio of responsibilities also includes sales enablement, sales team merger, and Hubspot training and development. One tip to close more deals - be genuinely interested in other people and proactively communicate even if there is nothing "in it" for you.

Hi there Mackenzie! I feel awful that you advised to "proactively communicate" and yet it's taken me a week to reply 😭 However, I strongly agree with you! Welcome to the group and we hope to see you at a Sales Enablement office hours soon!

Hey Everyone! I am in automotive software sales, working with a team to create software that will revolutionize the automotive industry!
I have been in sales for 17 years, automotive sales however, and I have always wanted to get into software sales. One tip I recommend to close more sales... Detach yourself from the outcome and attach yourself to your prospect.

Hello sales-rockstars!
My name is Ren, I am one week into my new sales career. I spent just over 4 years in B2B marketing. I work in the procurement software space. Being a newbie at sales, I'm not sure that I have any of the answers in terms of closing more deals, but from a marketing perspective, great content that positions one as a thought leader is incredibly helpful in opening doors for conversations with prospects.
