Welcome Juanita! "Offer them what you know they want" is a great tip - particularly for all of us using HubSpot. We get so much buyer context, it makes it easy (ish), right? 😁👍

Hi Daniela! Welcome to the gang 🙂 I agree - getting to know your customer is essential! Most of us who are in sales love getting to know customers too. It's a win/win 👌

Yep, you need opt in, but it should usually fall under the GDPR "by filling out this form you agree to receive communication from us" opt in language anyways. So it's likely that if you're collecting phone numbers in your forms already, you already have opt in to text.
It's been huge for us. We actually just started a reactivation campaign last week (aka texting our past churned customers) and have already reactivated over $2k MRR and gotten 11 positive responses and 4 demos set - out of 180 contacts enrolled (and all that in just over 1 week!).
Would be happy to show off our setup sometime (we do all this in HubSpot too!)

It's actually a new role I'm starting today! I started in medical device sales and took about a year to make my career pivot, but the company I'm working with now has both sales and UX needs. So I'm helping with both until I can establish a sales strategy and fully transition into UX Design. Definitely going to keep me busy!

Hey Everyone!
I am a Business Development Manager for a rapidly growing IT Research and Advisory firm. I have been in sales for about 7 or 8 years now, in both outside, inside, and management roles.
1 Tip to close more deals I learned very early in my career is anybody can explain what makes their product great. True sales come from learning how your product will bring value to your prospect. That is when you get a deal.

Totally agree with this @SPartlo . In fact I watched a really brilliant talk the other day (confession: it was from an event we organise) which was all about using features and benefits to sell your product or service.
Andi Jarvis recommended you always remember to add the phrase "which means that" when talking to prospects so that they can easily see what the value is in your service or product. For example, SEO can help you become more visibile in Search... which means that... you sell more stuff! (Bad example off the top of my head, but you get the idea).
