One of the best ways to learn sales enablement is by implementing strategies and sharing ideas with other sales professionals, just like you.

That’s why we’re so excited to create this community of sales leaders looking to learn and grow better together!

To get started, say hello and introduce yourself. Here are some questions to help you get started:

  • What's your current role?
  • What industry do you currently work in?
  • How long have you worked in sales?
  • What's one tip you recommend to close more deals?

  • Listen. Let your user/audience/target/customer/the data tell you what they need and provide more than what they are asking for, faster than they expected, better than they thought it could be, and really get to know who they are, be personal. Be Columbo.
    • Don't do ANYTHING that doesn't drive revenue.
    • Invest in your people, tech will always change.

Welcome to the Sales Enablement community, @JToke👋 "Be Columbo" is brilliant - I'm definitely going to borrow that for future presentations, if that's OK (with attribution to you and dba Platform, obviously). While we're on that topic, dba Platform looks really interesting and very useful. Will be sharing with our SEO team and various local search specialists!

I love all these tips @JToke - you're right, listening and paying attention to your customers and prospects is one of the simplest but effective ways to close more deals. Also, "don't do ANYTHING that doesn't drive revenue" needs to be on a poster in my office. Love that! ☺

Hi everyone! My name is Kha. I'm from Vietnam. I haven't worked in either Sales or Marketing before. The reason I'm here is to learn form the basic to the advanced knowledge about Sales Enablement so that I can actually get a chance to apply for MBA scholarships in Taiwan. People say I'm good at communicating and explaining matters to others so I think maybe that may help me to become a good salesperson or a good marketer.

I look forward to learning from you guys. Thank you for your support and instruction.

Hi Kha! HubSpot will teach you everything you need to know about sales and marketing - I've learned tons of stuff over the last few years. What's the most interesting thing you've learned so far?

Welcome @KhaTruongNguyen! Explaining matters to others is certainly key to doing well in sales 👍 But even an even more important skill is listening. Then you'll learn about your prospective customer and know if you can help them or not. My old boss used to say "you have two ears and one mouth, so listen twice as much as you talk". Having said that, experienced sales people have a tendency to get stuck in a rut, so with your beginner's mind, if we listen carefully to you, we'll learn as much from you as you will from us!

Hello everyone!

I'm Denis and I Marketing & Innovation Manager in Brazil. I work with consulting here and I'm an Asana Certified Pro, as well.

I've worked in Sales for about 10 years (Customs logistics, cosmetics and now as a Service Provider).

One tip for closing more deals would be to read the signs and the trails your customer may leave. Those will lead you to offer the best solution for them. 😁

Hi @Denis-Sooma 👋 Love trying to read the signals prospects are sending. My favourite signal is when they say "how much will it cost to get started?"...  Do you have a favourite? 😀

Hey, guys!

I'm Luis and I am currently working at a Meal Prep Software company and my role is Saled Development Representatives. I do love learning, so if you have any tips on what your SDR's have done and made them succeed in their I'd most glad to hear what they did.

What we have done in our compnay is to divide up places where we can go and search on specific days using social media and Google.

While I'm working here I also have a part time job as a piano and English teacher in Colombia and soon Peru as well.

Happy to be here!

Hey!

Thanks so much for your message 🙂 Lovely to have you here!

I can give a few tips on what I have done personally to increase sales here at Noisy Little Monkey so I'll try and be concise!

-Incorporate video into each step of your sales: personalised videos for outreach, explainer videos, demos, proposal videos. It works a treat!

-Take the frictionless sales course on HubSpot Academy! That transformed the way we approached sales here.

-Improve your personal brand on social media, particularly LinkedIn - people buy from people!

-Align your sales process with how your customers want to buy.

-Have a client fit matrix - work out the factors that your prospect must have (and more importantly must not have) in order to be able to work with you.

Those were some quick ones, please feel free to message me if you want more tips! Or add me on LinkedIn! https://www.linkedin.com/in/krobertooo/

Thanks 🙂

Helloooo everyone!!!

My name’s Josh and I’m the Inbound Manager for Noisy Little Monkey, and I’ve been working @ Noisy Little Monkey for 8 years.

I’d have to say that my sales superpower would simply be making stuff work. From wonky sales & marketing processes to bodged or broken automation, I can fix pretty much anything.

And finally at the moment I'm currently learning how to upcycle mid-century furniture, because I'm very much a self-proclaimed Bristol hipster. That’s me!

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m Claire and I’m the Marketing and Events Manager for Noisy Little Monkey. We’re an inbound marketing agency based in Bristol, UK and I’ve been working here for five years.

Want to know what my marketing superpowers are? I’m pretty good at creating content and events which turn strangers into devoted customers and advocates of brands 😍 That, and I’m pretty darn good at networking a room of people (typically by bribing them with food!)

Also, not at all marketing-related, but I’m currently learning the drums 🥁
