Hello Sales Enablement folks!

I'm Katy Jane, currently working as a Sales Enablement Specialist for an IT and Mobile managed service company. I've worked in Sales Support for about 7 years now - I started off life many years before that as a receptionist and worked my way through various admin roles until I ended up in product development for a toy company - part of which was supporting sales with their process and their selling strategies. My top tip for closing a deal is to keep yourself relevant to the customer. They're more likely to close if they're thinking about you! The trick is striking the balance between 'yes I must sort that out' and 'gosh that's irritating'.

Looking forward to getting some of your hints and tips!

Katy

Hello! I am currently the Business Development/Sales/Marketing Head at VM Group, a company specializing in the rental business industry. Today marks my first day in this role, and I am actively participating in training to better understand our offerings and market strategies. Although I am new to this specific position, I believe that a crucial tip for closing more deals is to deeply understand the customer's needs and tailor our approach to demonstrate how our services can effectively meet those needs. Building genuine relationship and consistently following up with potential clients are also essential strategies that I plan to implement to drive our sales success.

Hello, all. I'm Peter. I am currently in education but I want to get back into sales. I have 4 years to get me started back up, mostly with cold calling. In my educational roles, I have had to "sell" objectives and district initiatives to teachers and students, and I have experience connecting teachers to their students. Much like sales, if the students are not interested, then they are not buying! For closing sales, I have found that empathy is key. Connect with the buyer, build trust, and then close.

Looking forward to learning from you all!
