One of the best ways to learn sales enablement is by implementing strategies and sharing ideas with other sales professionals, just like you.

That’s why we’re so excited to create this community of sales leaders looking to learn and grow better together!

To get started, say hello and introduce yourself. Here are some questions to help you get started:

  • What's your current role?
  • What industry do you currently work in?
  • How long have you worked in sales?
  • What's one tip you recommend to close more deals?

Hello everyone! My name is Aziz. I'm a Quality Specialist at a parking services company in Saudi Arabia. I am a former retail banker and that's where most of my sales experience comes from. Sales have been a big part of my 15-year career and I recommend everyone to take the full suite of Hubspot sales-related courses and get certified. Whilst my current career focus isn't on sales, nevertheless I interact with folks who DO sell so I want to enhance my understanding.

Hello everyone, this is Faleh from Saudi Arabia. I am currently working as a developer, leveraging my expertise in civil engineering, consultancy, and project management to oversee and manage various projects. I work in the construction and real estate development industry, focusing on the design, management, and execution of projects from concept through to completion.

While my primary background is in civil engineering, consultancy, project management, and development, I have also acquired sales-related experience indirectly through client management, business development, and negotiating contracts throughout my career. I believe that building strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions is essential. It’s important to be proactive, communicate clearly, and establish trust, ensuring clients feel confident in your ability to deliver value and meet their expectations.

Hi, I'm currently the Head of Business Operations at Samyak Edutech, where I work in the education industry. I've been in sales for over 9 years, with experience spanning across business operations and sales management. One tip I recommend for closing more deals is to focus on understanding the customer's true pain points and then tailoring your solution to show how it directly addresses their needs. Building genuine relationships and demonstrating value can turn potential clients into long-term partners.

Hi everyone,

My name is Eoin, I am a tech sales professional returning from long-term sick leave. Time to hone my skills and return even stronger than I left!

I have 2 years of experience across telecoms and SaaS and legal tech, quickly working my way up to a Business Development Manager role.

My tip would be research, research, research! Build up a picture of your prospect's business, then provide relevant insights when you speak to them. Be part of the value of the product, not something they have to endure before seeing any.

Hi Jon - Hi all,

My name is Mike, I work in the telecom industry (One of the big 3 companies) for the past 14 years starting as a BAE, then to Sales Manager, currently in Sr Manager / Director role.  I have been in sales, sales management for roughly 20 years, I have only worked for 2 companies my entire adult career (not sure if thats good or bad!)  I pride myself in developing talent, transfer of knowledge, partnership & culture within my teams.  One time to help close more deals is to LISTEN to your client - we were given 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason, Actively listening to your customers, taking notes (I like notebooks when face to face/ I think notes on your phones makes the potential clients think you are texting and not truly engaged) and learning about the business, so you can have an educated conversation with potential client instead of seeming like every other sales rep.  Remember these businesses are their babies, their blood sweat and tears went into this "idea" they had and went for it, be a consultant!

Hello everyone! 👋

I’m JS (Jean-Sébastien), CEO and cofounder of Centralio, a SaaS company from Quebec, Canada. At Centralio, we’re all about transforming the way quotes are created, shared, and managed. We’ve made it our mission to replace those static, manually prepared quotes with Interactive Quotes that are not only faster to create but also personalized and visually engaging. We believe quoting should enhance the customer experience, not slow it down.

I’ve spent over 20 years in the tech world, both as a vendor and on the customer side, so I’ve seen firsthand how hard it can be to make the sales process more efficient. Centralio was actually born out of challenges we faced in the manufacturing world—where product configurations were complex, and managing quotes across dealer networks was a headache. That’s why we’re committed to simplifying the quoting process, one interaction at a time.

Our platform gives companies the tools to create memorable customer experiences and helps sales teams perform at their best. We want to make sure businesses can focus on growing, not getting bogged down by outdated sales processes.

I know I’m biased, but my best tip for closing more deals is to stop wasting time with manual quotes. With Centralio’s Interactive Quotes, you can create dynamic, accurate quotes in no time, freeing up your sales team to focus on what really matters: the customer. No more dragging and dropping or searching through endless files—just smarter, faster quoting.

I’m looking forward to learning from and sharing ideas with all of you!

JS

Hello Sales Enablement folks!

I'm Katy Jane, currently working as a Sales Enablement Specialist for an IT and Mobile managed service company. I've worked in Sales Support for about 7 years now - I started off life many years before that as a receptionist and worked my way through various admin roles until I ended up in product development for a toy company - part of which was supporting sales with their process and their selling strategies. My top tip for closing a deal is to keep yourself relevant to the customer. They're more likely to close if they're thinking about you! The trick is striking the balance between 'yes I must sort that out' and 'gosh that's irritating'.

Looking forward to getting some of your hints and tips!

Katy
