Benchmark conversion rates?

Anyone else have any recommendations for industry benchmarking conversion rates?

Quick answer - A good conversion rate seems to be anywhere between 2-5% but some industries would be unhappy with less than 10%

I've found some terrific resources to study to understand the benchmark for conversion rates in your industry.

Unbounce's Conversion Benchmark Report

This is broken down by indsutry / sector which is incredibly useful. Moreover, based on their machine learning analysis of what makes website visitors convert. 

In a close second is WordStream's blog post; What's a Good Conversion Rate?

It's not as detailed in terms of breakdown by sector but it's got lots of detail and more useful pointers on how to improve your conversion rates.

Finally, Chili Piper's article 2022 Conversion Rate Benchmarks  it uses data from a couple of sources (including the article by WordStream, above) and is a good resource for anyone, beginner to expert.
