how to turn on notifications when contacts open and click emails

SOLVE

Hi,

I am using the free version of the CRM.  I was advised that there is a way to turn on notifications such that when a contact opens an email and/or clicks a link in an email, I can receive an alert/notification.  I am struggling though to find out how to turn this on.

Alternatively if there is a report of some sort that shows the same, even better.

Please help??

Thanks,

MK

Hi @MarcK

You need to install the HubSpot Sales Free email extension to track emails sent from your inbox. More info here: Install the HubSpot Sales email extension

Hope this helps.

Phil,

Thank you...much appreciated!

Only thing... I use the apple mail client on a Mac... It seems though there is not an email extension for this scenario.

Do you know of anything?

Best,

Marc

Hi @MarcK

HubSpot indeed doesn't support Apple Mail. More information here: Can I use HubSpot Sales with Apple Mail?

Your choices are to either send emails via the HubSpot CRM directlty, or change your email client.

Hope this helps.
