Using Sequence Emails to Target tier 2 and 3 companies with more than specified number of contacts?
SOLVE
I tier my customer outreach by tiers 1, 2, & 3. I am currently enriching the contacts in these accounts and I currently only want to send emails to companies that have at least 5 contacts.
When creating a sequence is there a way for me to target companies that are only tier 2 & 3 and have 5+ contacts? I created a list of these accounts that qualify, but I'm not sure if I can create a sequence to target the companies in a list.
Yes, there is a way to only enroll contacts into your sequence if these contacts are associated with a company which is in turn associated to at least five contacts.
First, you would create an active contact list like the one below, returning all of the contact described above. (Menu > Contacts > Lists > Create > Contact-based > Active list > Company properties)
Save this list and navigate to Menu > Contacts > Contacts. Click More filters (also described here) and filter for List membership. Additionally, you could add the second filter to exclude all contact who have already been enrolled in a sequence.
Save these settings. Then make sure to click Save view at the top right of the screen. Click on the tab and pin it for easy access.
