Used to get email tracking data. Now I get "Tracking data is not available for this email"

I used to be able to tell if a client was receiving my emails and opening them. But, recently, all I see is this:Screen Shot 2020-09-02 at 1.55.32 PM.png

"Tracking data is not available for this email
Melinda Caughill chose to log this email but not track it. Learn more"

The learn more link is not helpful.

I cannot figure out what changed and why it no longer tracks emails, and how to fix it. Anyone have any suggestions? 

PS - I am Melinda - so apparently I, myself, am the one who chose not to track? HUH?!

This is now happening with me in Gmail as well.  Sending from Gmail, not the CRM.  What is the fix?  I verified the plug-in has the right settings, but it still shows the same 

Tracking data is not available for this email message.  HELP

I've been having the exact same problem - you can search for my support thread in these forums.

 

It started when I switched my domain email over.  As I still get open's from previous emails I've sent, but all emails from new email domains are not tracked.  I have gone through Hubspot support and this forum seeking help, but nothing has worked.

 

I have connected my domain email, I have connected gmail.

 

I send in Outlook and have the outlook addon.  

 

But if I send emails from my gmail email account, all works fine.  It is something to do with outlook for me.

 

I have outlook on my laptop with the Hubspot integrations and on my Desktop - and both do not track email opens and have this message displayed in Hubspot:

 

"

Tracking data is not available for this email

Angela Purcell chose to log this email but not track it."
 
Yet in Outlook it is telling me the email is tracked, when I check in the Sent folder.
 
I was told to pay to upgrade to see if that fixes it.  I don't think I should pay to see if it fixes it.
 
Now wondering if that is their ploy all along?

Hey @MCogs! Is that email in your example a marketing email (sent as a one-to-many blast) or a sales email (you to one person)?

 

If it was a marketing email, either a one-off blast or part of a workflow, it will NOT track, meaning if a contact responds to the email it won't log under their HubSpot contact record 😞 

 

You can manually add a response to a record by forwarding that email to your unique HubSpot address, xxxxxxx@forward.hubspot.com (more info on that here).

Was this email sent from Gmail or sent directly from the CRM?

 

If sent from Gmail, can you verify if logging and tracking is turned on in the Sales extension? Here are instructions on how to do that.

 

If sent from the CRM, can you verify if one-to-one email tracking is turned on. Here are instructions on how to do that.
