There was an error sending emails

SOLVE

Hi, 

 

I scheduled a few emails to go out to my prospects using HubSpot. But none of them were sent. 

 

Upon reading the Knowledgebase, I couldn't find anything concrete. 

 

These are sales emails and on priority so help ASAP would be great,

@RidaZaidi just saw this post of yours

so attachments/files shouldn’t exceed 20mb

and as you can see you have 1 file that is 23mb

this is why is not being send.

Here is an article with more info about attachments 

I'd go with the other options you chose about using a link to a HS file

this usually works fine (and you also getting tracking info)

Hope this solves the doubt.

SOLVE

Hi @RidaZaidi 

to be able to send marketing emails you need to check:

- that they are Marketing contacts

- That they have a subscription assign

- that they have given consent to receive your emails.

Once you check all of these

you'll see that are going to receive your emails.

(of course there could be something missing regarding domain configuration 

but I'm supposing that you have that correctly setup)

Hey @Lucila-Andimol,
These contacts are setup as marketing contacts but the emails were manually scheduled since they were sales followups. 

For these same contacts, I rolled out a newsletter last week which was delivered. Domain and everything else is configured. I made sure of that. 

The error I got was pretty vague and the Knowledgebase is giving 30 possible answers to one error so not sure what the problem is.

thanks for clarifying that.

is there a specific message that you are seing? Or is it just that you programmed the email on Gmail/Outlook and it didn't sent?

Because this sound like an email integration issue maybe and not internal from HubSpot.

Could you please explain a bit more about what happened? If you could share an example of the sales email you were trying to send, along with the scheduling details and any error messages you received, it would greatly help us investigate the issue. Hey Diana, 
This is the screenshot from one of the emails. These are not marketing emails but sales follow up emails that I manually scheduled for the prospects.

I added 2 pdf attachments which maybe the reason. I used HubSpot file links to resend these emails and it worked. 

Still I would want to know if I understood correctly. 

Also, we are using Sales Hub Professional.

Hi Maria,

Thank you for clarifying. There were 2 files and one of them was above 20mb for sure.
