Issues with Sequences is that they are not to be used with a shared inbox (personal inbox only). A user could be created with the shared inbox email but not sure this would somehow impact negatively the email domain (if used in Sequences).

Are these inquiries linked to the correct contact record? could they just enrol that contact in a sequence when an enquiry comes in? if they have enterprise they can also enrol in a sequence via a workflow.

Oh i see what you mean now - you want the email address of the shared inbox to be the user of the sequence? Is there any reason users who access the shared inbox can't enrol contacts with their own user email?
