Saving sequence emails in the sent folder of gmail

Hi,

We have few sequences that are being sent on behalf of another manager for leads.

That manager want to later see those emails without looking them up in hubspot around different contacts since he doesn't know what was sent to who specifically.

Ideally - He wants to be able to go into his sent email folder in gmail and see the sent emails.  Or even look it up in some activity log filtered by him.

As of today is email is connected to hubspot and he's using the gmail extensions but we can't seem to manage to log those outgoing emails.

Anyone knows if this is possible ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @galileran,

Thanks for reaching out!

From what I am understanding, the best solution here would be to CC the manager from the Sequence. While this is not a current feature, fortunately, it is being reviewed!

From the Community Post CC in Sequences:
@glencornell writes "We are currently undergoing some major changes to the infrastructure of sequences to allow for a number of improvements, including the ability to enroll multiple contacts in sequences (CC, BCC, and TO:). Although we still plan to prioritize this work, it may still be several months before this functionality is available in beta. Thank you for your patience and participation in this thread, we are working hard to bring news of updates for you all as soon as we can!"

That said, if this feature comes to fruition, the emails would not be in the Sent folder, but would be CC'ed to the email address.

However, as a workaround for the time being, we could enroll our manager in the sequence themselves, although we would not see specifically who else the Sequence was sent to.

I hope this helps! Happy to discuss this further here!

Best,

Brendan
