Salesforce visualforce pages are not ' Available for Lightning Experience, Lightning Communities...'

SOLVE

When attempting to add the upgraded HubSpot visualforce page to a tab in the Lightning object Edit page in Salesforce, the visualforce pages are not available.  Upon futher investigation, it's because the 'Available for Lightning Experience, Lightning Communities, and the mobile app' setting is not enabled for any of the HubSpot visualforce pages.  Since it's a managed package, I can't enable them myself.  Are there any workarounds for this?  I am aware that I can add the visualforce pages to the page layouts themselves but I'd rather add it as a component to a tab so as to not clutter up the existing page layout...it's long enough without adding more to it!

Thank you!

Hi, @Siobhan. You're correct this can't be added as its own Lightning component on a Lightning record page. However, if your Lightning page layout uses the Classic page layout as a component, you will be able to embed the Visualforce page in the Classic layout, and it will render as part of the Record Detail component from the Lightning editor.

You may want to try posting to the ideas board about making the Visualforce pages their own Lightning component. Please link me when you do, so I can upvote.

[Edited to add: I haven't tried this, nor am I sure that it would even work, but I wonder if you could create your own custom Visualforce page, which embeds the HubSpot Visualforce page within it. This might be a way to get around the issue until Lightning-ready Visualforce pages are available. Even if this does work - which is in no way guaranteed - this is kinda putting a hat on a hat here.]

I'm probably wrong. I may not be right about that.

Hello, selecting the "Available for Lightning Experience, Experience Builder sits, and the mobile app" checkbox is now possible with the new visualforce window.

https://knowledge.hubspot.com/salesforce/embed-hubspot-data-into-a-salesforce-record

This is a separate visualforce window from the legacy feature and you will need to follow the complete install and set-up instructions in the knowledge base article. We do not automatically remove the legacy feature once installed.

Thank you for your feedback!  I have created an idea on this topic:  Enable the 'Available for Lightning Experience, Lightning Communities, and the mobile app' setting.

Thanks,

Siobhan

Checking in on this. It has been 5 years - any movement on this? Seems like a fairly simple adjustment/fix.
