SMTP settings incorrect HubSpot can’t access your inbox because the SMTP settings are incorrect.

Hi,

 

I am trying to connect to my 2010 Exchange Server. IMAP seems to connect ok but I receive the error below.

 

SMTP settings incorrect

HubSpot can’t access your inbox because the SMTP settings are incorrect.
 

Any idea's?

Hello @qdavenport 

 

I would recommend if you could check to make sure the server names and ports are correct. In some cases, you may need to contact your IT team to verify this information.

Confirm the IMAP server and port are correct. Most IMAP ports will be 993 or 143.

Hi Pam,

 

I am the IT manager. The server name and ports are correct. Can you see the logs of why it failed from your end?
