Recurring email

SOLVE

Hi

I want to remind customers to book in every three months, six or twelve months (depending on the customer type).

Each start date is different and is unlikely to be the date that i set it up. Is this possible?

So, let's say that I want the first email to go on the third Friday of August and then every three months on the third Friday of that month (i.e. November, Februrary etc)

How would I set this up, please? Happy to upgrade, if required.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @DG4,

This is generally possible with automated emails in workflows, available in Marketing Hub Professional: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/marketing-email/create-automated-emails-to-use-in-workflows

The easiest option would be to specify the date on the contact or company record that you would like everything to revolve around:

You would enroll your contacts / companies on that date and then:

  • Add a delay of 90 days
  • Add a branch (AND/OR logic) to check whether a meeting of the expected type was booked in the last X days
  • If yes, proceed to the next delay of 90 days
  • If no, send an automated email tok book a meeting, then proceed to the next delay of 90 days
  • Repeat

Here's a section of this workflow:

To make sure that these emails are sent on week days, you can specify working hours (to only send emails Monday through Friday).

After completing four delays of 90 days, contacts would unenroll – and then re-enroll through the specified date (first screenshot).

If you would like help setting this up, let me know. As a HubSpot solutions provider, I'd be happy to assist you. Simply send me a message here in the community or book some time through my signature.

Hey @DG4

if you are not ready to go for Marketing Pro to able to do this

you can take a look at the app marketplace and search for 3rd tools that handle email automations, like Zapier.

Hope this helps
