I'm not sure if this is the right area to be asking this question however we have used the Hubspot Free email signature tool to create some new signatures for our team. When copying this into mac mail we lose all the social icons, images and logo?
We've spoken with someone through the chat who directed us to the community as she wasn't able to help.
Does anyone have any suggestions for this. We'd really like to use the signatures. Kind regards, Anna McCormack
Hi, I was making new signatures. I followed all the steps, copied and pasted the code, locked the mailsignature file, but unfortunately, nothing is showing up. It is a bit strange because I have my old hubspot signatures and they are just fine. I tried to make a signature in other webbrowser as well, but nothing has changed. I just have a blank page, when I create the signature. Im using mac OS Sonoma.
I dont know, where is the problem, can someone help?
Thank you for asking the Community and sorry for the late reply. For more visibility, I'd recommend creating a new post in the future, so that you can have help quicker.
I'd like to ask some clarifying questions to make sure I understand what's happening:
1. Have you been using the email signature generator? 2. You have added a signature in HubSpot and it works, however on your mac, the signature doesn't display. Is that right? 3. Where exactly it doesn't display? On a contact record? On a marketing email? Could you please share a screenshot?
The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
I'd like to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @LouiseHare, @Josh and @Jnix284 do you have suggestions to help @marychen, please?
Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation 🙂
Hi guys, I have literally tried everything to get this to work, even the below CRM solution which did not work for me. Anyway I finally found a solution!!
Follow the instructions on the link below which allows you to create an email signature on a mac using HTML... it seems pretty daunting when you first look at it but just follow the instructions step by step and it should work! It worked perfectly for me, and only took about 10 minutes total.
I was having the same problem until I tried creating the signature and copying the code from Google Chrome instead of Safari. For some reason, Safari doesn't work but Chrome did for me.
At the moment the reason that may not work is that each specific mail client has a number of changes and updates that may affect the way the signature generator behaves.
Did you had a chance to try the @JaimeJay workaround?
Once I have an update from my team I will leave a comment in here.
Unfortunately the problem hasn't been fixed Mathilde. I can include it in my email but the text sits under the circular photo and not next to it so it doesn't have the same effect that it should.
I'm having such a lot of trouble loading the email signature to my mac Mail.
Has anyone had their problem resolved yet?
I've called Apple with no luck. I've updated to the latest Catalina. I've resized my image smaller and saved as jpeg rather than png. I've tried doing everything in Chrome.
Am I wasting my time? I can't get this beautiful email signature to work in Mac Mail.
I am working with our team and at the moment we will continue investigating more about it but there it’s not a current fix for this behavior.
The reason is that each specific mail client has a number of changes and updates that may affect the way the signature generator behaves. I will be updating this thread if there are any changes in the future about this.
