Preventing HubSpot from Tracking My Own Sent Emails

Hi HubSpot Community,

I’m facing an issue with HubSpot email tracking in Outlook.

Whenever I send an email, HubSpot also tracks it when I open the message from my Sent Items folder. This is being counted as an "open," which makes the tracking data inaccurate.

Could you please advise if there’s a way to block or exclude my opens when viewing emails in the Outlook Sent Items folder?

• Is there a setting in HubSpot or Outlook that prevents self-tracking?

• Or do I need to allowlist/blocklist my email address or IP?

Any guidance or best practices would be much appreciated.
