You are correct in your understanding of what we wanted to do, however when we clicked "send" from the actions dropdown on the actual invoice, we assumed the since the checkbox for including the PDF invoice was checked that there should have been an option on that screen for adding another attachment. Did not realize that the "Create custom email in your CRM" button (image below) was what was needed. Problem solved.
Could you explain your objective a bit more? Are you trying to send a 1:1 email where you want to include an invoice and add attachments in the message? Or are you looking to attach documents directly within the invoice itself? If you could share an example or some screenshots of what you have so far and provide a bit more detail on what you're trying to achieve, that would be really helpful in guiding you better.
Sure. Looking for the option to attach any appropriate doc (PDF) to the subscription we are submitting the 1:1 invoice for, directly to the email, not the invoice itself. No real examples, just any doc that one would attach to any email.
Thank you for your clarification, however, I still need a bit more context to fully understand your objective. Could you please provide additional details?
To ensure we're on the same page, do you mean you're sending a personalized (1:1) email that includes an invoice, and in addition, you wish to attach a separate document to the same email? If this is the case, please note that the file attachment option is located at the bottom of the email editor.
If you are working in another section of the HubSpot platform, or if the 1:1 email is being sent through a different method, please provide screenshots. This will allow us to accurately identify the area of the tool where you're experiencing difficulties attaching the file, and diagnose the cause of the problem.
